Fashion Power Group (FPG), a Bangladesh-based apparel and fashion manufacturing group serving global brands, is entering a pilot project on 13 January 2026 with DigiProd Pass Ltd., a technology provider specialising in Digital Product Passport (DPP) solutions.
As part of the pilot, DigiProd Pass will collaborate with FPG to create and demonstrate DPPs for the products, evaluating their implementation across design, manufacturing, and distribution stages of the fashion and apparel supply chain.
The pilot project aims to explore the practical implementation of Digital Product Passports within the fashion and textile manufacturing environment, demonstrating how verified product data can be captured, structured, and maintained across the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution stages. The pilot is intended to assess readiness for evolving regulatory, brand, and transparency expectations.
“Working on this pilot with DigiProd Pass is a valuable experience for us. It gives FPG the chance to experiment with new technologies and see what works in practice,” said Shafiqul Islam, Director of Fashion Power Group (FPG).
Under the MoU, Fashion Power Group (FPG) will bring its manufacturing expertise, operational insight, and real-world production environments to support the pilot project.
As a vertically integrated apparel conglomerate, FPG manages most stages of the apparel production process in-house, providing an end-to-end operational setting to evaluate Digital Product Passport implementation across multiple lifecycle stages.
DigiProd Pass will provide its Digital Product Passport platform and related services, supporting the creation, deployment, and management of DPPs during the pilot. The platform enables the structured and interoperable maintenance and secure sharing of product data for evaluation, supporting use cases that promote traceability, transparency, and compliance.
“Through this pilot, we are evaluating how Digital Product Passports can enhance transparency and sustainability across Bangladesh’s apparel sector, with practical insights on workflows and data management. Fashion Power Group’s support is instrumental in enabling this collaboration,” said Sohag Salaudding, Managing Director, DigiProd Pass Ltd.
Through the pilot, the parties aim to demonstrate how Digital Product Passports can provide a single, lifecycle-aware view of verified product data, supporting insights into compliance readiness, sustainability reporting, and transparency across fashion, apparel, and textile supply chains.
The pilot will progress by defining its scope, selecting the products for demonstration, and evaluating the practical implementation of Digital Product Passports across the stages. The partners will capture insights on workflows, data requirements, and operational feasibility, providing a foundation for future applications of DPPs across FPG’s supply chain.
