DigiProd Pass Enters Strategic Pilot Partnership with Sourcebynet

Debut at the Furniture Fair in Shanghai

15 July, 2025 | Manchester, United Kingdom

DigiProd Pass is proud to announce a strategic pilot partnership with Sourcebynet, a global leader in sustainable and design-forward furniture sourcing. This collaboration marks a major milestone in DigiProd Pass’s journey to scale its Digital Product Passport (DPP) solution globally.

As part of this pilot, some of Sourcebynet’s selected products will feature DPPs powered by the DigiProd Pass platform and showcased at the Furniture Fair in Shanghai, China.

This public demonstration will be the company’s first furniture DPP in Asia and a tangible showcase of this future-forward technology at one of the most prominent international events in the industry.

This partnership, between Sourcebynet and DigiProd Pass, represents a shared commitment to advancing product transparency, traceability, and sustainability within the furniture sector.

To prepare for the fair, DigiProd Pass will work closely with Sourcebynet’s teams in Denmark, Vietnam, and Singapore to identify products for DPP implementation, align on data structures and passport formats covering the digital requirements, and produce accompanying visual and digital assets.

The initiative will enable exhibition visitors to experience a ‘hands-on’ demonstration of a DPPs and a practical example of the benefits in terms of greater transparency and verified commitments to sustainability.

This pilot between DigiProd Pass and Sourcebynet sets a new precedent for showcasing the practical potential of DPPs beyond European borders, positioning DigiProd Pass at the forefront of innovation in one of Asia’s fastest-growing design and manufacturing markets.

As the platform continues to expand globally, the initiative is expected to strengthen DigiProd Pass’s credibility within the furniture sector and accelerate the broader adoption of transparent, interoperable product data systems.

More updates will follow as the project develops.
