edie Awards 2025: DigiProd Pass by TVS made it to the final round

Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS), together with its specialist division, DigiProd Pass, have been shortlisted in the ‘Product Innovation: Services and Software’ category at the prestigious edie Awards 2025. The recognition is for the pioneering development of the EU-compliant Battery Product Passport, DigiBat Pass.

TVS has secured numerous grants, including over 30 EU projects like the Horizon Europe-funded BASE-BAttery Passport for Resilient Supply Chain and Implementation of Circular Economy. DigiProd Pass is launching pilot projects to provide a regulatory blueprint for optimising battery use.    

‍“The global manufacturing capacity of lithium-ion batteries has an annual growth rate of 25% which, by 2030, will represent a market value of $400 billion and 4.7 TWh”, Mr. Sohag remarked. Accessed by a QR code, DigiBat Pass can be utilised by manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to address the environmental and social challenges posed by traditional linear consumption models. By offering detailed information on battery health, performance, and carbon footprint, the solution enables users to make informed decisions, such as optimising battery usage and maintenance to extend battery life, thereby reducing the need for expensive replacements.    

The edie Awards, presented by the UK's largest sustainable business media brand, edie, is undergoing a transformation for 2025. The introduction of new categories and the enhancement of entry criteria aim to acknowledge exceptional environmental and societal contributions. For the past 17 years, these flagship awards have honoured the innovative and impactful contributions of industry leaders.    

This year’s edie winners will be announced at the Intercontinental, London, The O2, on Thursday, 13 March.
